Montclair Neighborhood 

Situated in the desirable Oakland hills area, Montclair is just steps away from conveniences, shopping and a vast selection of restaurants for those with a discerning taste for different flavors. 

And for those that enjoy the great outdoors, you're minutes away from the Montclair Railroad Trail and the renowned Reinhardt Redwood Regional miles of trails and lush redwood trees that encompass you at every turn. 

Just a few notable areas a few minutes away from the house: 

  • Montclair Village - Stroll around this multi-block shopping village packed with restaurants, shops and dining. In the mood for coffee? There's 4 coffee shops just within a light stroll from each other from Peet's Coffee, Starbucks, High Wire and Paddington Cafe. Need to grab some groceries? Safeway, Rite Aid and CVS are within walking distance. And when you're hungry there's the Montclair Egg Shop,Kakui and local favorite, Daughter Thai, just to name a few. There's so much more to explore!  

  • Lincoln Square - Just a few minutes up the road, the Lincoln Village is a one stop shop for groceries at Safeway, a light snack/lunch at Jamba Juice and even a coffee break at Peet's Coffee. Convenience just a few minutes away. 

  • Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park: Located in the hills east of Oakland, this park is known to visitors for  picnicking, jogging, hiking, archery, and horseback riding along the 40 miles of park trails.

  • Montclair Railroad Trail: The Montclair Railroad Trail - built on the historic rail bed of the Sacramento Northern Railway - provides a beautiful natural setting for walking, jogging, hiking and bicycling. Dogs on-leash are welcome too. The paved, flat trail is 1.5 miles long.

  • Shepherd Canyon Park: Shepherd Canyon Park features playing fields filled with youth sports on weekends, a small climbing structure and nature-filled hillside trails that provide great sunset views. Hiking up to Shepherd Canyon Park from Montclair Village on the Montclair Railroad Trail is a wonderful way to spend a sunny morning.
